Own by the Latorse family, also owner of Château Gabaron in the neighbor “Entre Deux Mers”, the Château l’Ombrière is located in the Premières Côtes de Bordeaux which owe their name to their location on the hills overlooking the Garonne’s flowing water.

Following the winding path of the river during 38 miles long, the thin strip of land of the “Premieres Côtes” is never more than five kilometers wide and offers a varied landscape of hills and valley. The vineyards’ location ensures that they receive plenty of sunshine. Pebbles and steep slopes provide natural drainage and a choice of soils: Gravelly-cobble, clay-chalk, and clay-gravel on the top of the hills.
